Year 4 Problem solving questions using addition and subtraction.

There were 53 Creeper monsters. The creepers reproduced and had another 33 baby creepers. Fontry a person hit the creepers and 64 exploded. How many were left? (Sarah)

Jonathan owned 69 Islands. On each Island there were 125 coconuts. 19 Islands got eaten by a huge sea monster. (Georgia)

There was 99 rabbits in the forest. Some council authority people added another 33 rabbits to the forest. Aliens came and shot 37 of the rabbits with there plasma guns. How many are left? (Josh)

Dr Mark had 90 pieces of soap. His uncle gave him 96 more. That night a huge tornado hit the shop. 25 pieces of soap were missing. (Bradyn)
